Delsym wanted to strengthen its reputation as a go-to solution for families dealing with sick days. Legend was tasked with creating a simple but impactful experience that highlighted family togetherness while showcasing Delsym’s long-lasting cough and cold relief.
EXECUTION
Legend began by conducting a nationwide survey, which revealed that while home-cooked meals are key for comfort, more than 35% skip cooking when dealing with illness. Motivated by this insight, Legend launched the “Bring Comfort Home” initiative with La La Anthony as the celebrity partner. La La shared her advice for navigating sick days and helped promote Delsym’s online Comfort Meal Kit Sweepstakes, the winners of which would receive the ingredients for her favorite sick day recipe – Puerto Rican Chicken Soup – reinforcing Delsym’s commitment to supporting families through tough times.
IMPACT
La La’s content generated more than 25,000 Instagram engagements, and the sweepstakes became Delsym’s most successful in history, drawing nearly 50,000 entries. The buzz also landed coverage in PEOPLE, Us Weekly, and E! News, among others.
